Christmas Pictures

I think these are self explanatory. Three happy kids on Christmas morning.

check out what we saw the other day coming home. It was somewhere between Dierks and DeQueen. Pretty cool huh? Don't just see one of those everyday unless you work in a zoo.

Mystery

We think this limb fell. It had been really windy the night before. It is over the chain link and under the barbed wire. There is no evidince that it was shoved in there by a person. On the chain link fence the stick was embedded into the fence a little like that is how it had fallen. Don't know how it happened. How did it get under the barbed wire fence? It is perfectly balanced on the chain link. It is not even touching the barbed wire.

Disney Trip

This was our first morning at Disney. We went to Epcot first because it opened the earliest that day. One of the picture people took our picture for us. It was very foggy that morning.

We went and saw some exhibits and went on some rides. We saw a spot where there were characters so we asked them how long they were going to be there. They said all day so we went to eat lunch and went back. This was the first character we saw.

Laura enjoyed seeing all the characters and getting autographs. She has the most sigs in her book. I think we counted 37. That's alot of waiting in line.

Several months ago, Chad bought me a mural pattern. I finally put it up on the wall. Here it is completed.

Swipper the Fox

This is our newest discovered neighbor. Joseph named him Swipper the Fox after the fox on Dora the Explorer. He was giving Abby fits the other day, knowing that she couldn't get to him. We don't know if it is a him or a her. I'm not getting close enough to find out, so it's a him.

Bottle launcher

I'm going to try to put some video on this time. This is the bottle launcher we made.

Fire Dept.

Paul's friend Noah's Dad is the fire chief at one of the volunteer departments here. They invited us to come watch them cut up some cars. They were practicing using some new equipment.

They had the fire trucks out and were showing all the kids.

The prime vantage point was from on top of the trucks.

Paul, Noah and Mikaela spent the whole time playing around by the side of the building .

Girl Scout Meeting

Laura's girl scout troop met on Tuesday. They decorated cakes.

2009 Pinewood Derby

Paul won 1st place in the Webelos I division

Paul won 2nd place in the overall race. He lost by a hair. They had to keep reracing because it was so close.

Joseph won 3rd place in open division. Richard (prison guard) got beat by a girl.

Laura did not place. We thought she had won several of her races but the judges called it differently. There's always next year. Here is her with her car.

This one is just for laughs. This was just funny the way Kathleen was looking down at Joseph and he was looking up at her.
